Canal 22 Internacional presents programs on design and architecture with accessibility

For all those who are passionate about art and architecture, we recommend the excellent series Arquitecturas mexicanas del siglo XXI, El poder del diseño and Restaurando México. These series are broadcasted at 2 p.m. ET - 11 a.nm. PT, from Tuesday to Friday, on Canal 22 Internacional with captions and video description.

Arquitecturas mexicanas del siglo XXI presents a dozen of the most representative works of  current Mexican architecture; from Teodoro González de León or Ricardo Legorreta to the new and prominent Mexican architects. The series travels through iconic buildings from different generations and trends.

El poder del diseño shows how designers, architects and creative teams work to materialize their ideas. Those ideas later become daily elements that make our lives better.

Restaurando México teaches the different restoration processes that a variety of objects, considered cultural assets of Mexico, go through. The audience can, guided by well known restorers, learn the necessary steps to conserve the authenticity of the objects to restore.

In a fantastic way, these three series document the different phases in the creation and conservation of objects and buildings that are an important part of the cultural identity of Mexico.

Accessibility for this programming is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, under project H327C15009 “Captions and Video Description: Educational Tools for Hispanic Children with Disabilities”.
