Olympusat Joins Dicapta’s Efforts for Accessible Television
This is fabulous! Olympusat has joined Dicapta’s efforts for accessible television. Starting this month, Olympusat will include captions and video description in Spanish on 20 hours of its educational and cultural programming per quarter.
Through its more than 50 brands and TV networks in Spanish, Olympusat reaches more than 8 million viewers per day in the United States and Latin America. It also offers content suitable for use in the classroom through its educational and cultural channels Sorpresa, Ultra Kidz, and Ultra Docu.
“It is an honor to be able to be part of the excellent work you are doing,” said Jesus Piñango, Olympusat’s Director of TV Content Strategy, after signing the collaboration agreement with Dicapta.
For Dicapta, this is an excellent opportunity to provide accessibility to Spanish language programming for a greater number of people with hearing and visual limitations. We are thrilled with Olympusat’s enthusiasm for joining our efforts. Welcome to our team!!
