Frozen Planet TV Series Now Shown with Accessibility on HITN

The spectacular BBC TV series Frozen Planet is now broadcast with captions and video description in Spanish on HITN

This series visits the North and South Poles during the different seasons of the year. It explores them from the air and the land and even goes underwater to show us the wildlife that inhabits these extreme weather territories. But not only penguins and bears inhabit the Poles! The series shows us people who have lived there for generations and scientists who have come in recent years to establish research bases. The last of the seven episodes of the series analyzes the effect that climate change could have on the Poles.

The TV series is shown on the following days, eastern standard time:

Mondays – 3:00 a.m.
Thursdays – 7:00 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Fridays – 12:00 a.m., 4:00 a.m., and 11:00 p.m.
Sundays – 11:00 p.m.
