Lenny & Tweek available with accessibility in Spanish on the Semillitas channel

Semillitas is presenting Lenny & Tweek with captions and video description in Spanish. Thanks to captions and video description, children with hearing and visual impairment can better enjoy this series.

Lenny is a brown bear that goes everywhere with his friend Tweek, a small red bird. They both enjoy playing, looking at nature, learning about it and learning about themselves.  They try to understand how shadows and waves behave, how tall the sky is, learn how to find laughter, etc.

Lenny & Tweek is based on the characters from the book with the same name, whose author is  Klaus Baumgart. Klaus is a German writer and illustrator that has created several children books.  Besides Lenny & Tweek, one of his most famous book series is Laura's Star.

Semillitas has made Lenny & Tweek theme song available on its YouTube page with big captions. The words in the captions change color as they are pronounced.

Lenny & Tweek is recommended for children between 3 and 6 years old.  Every episode lasts about 5 minutes.

Semillitas shows this series every day at 10:50 and 11:52 a.m. and at 3:21 p.m.

Accessibility for this programming is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, under project H327C15009 “Captions and Video Description: Educational Tools for Hispanic Children with Disabilities”.
