Canal 22 Internacional new fabulous partner in our project
We are elated with our new partner, Canal 22 Internacional. which has already started to broadcast programs with captions and video description in Spanish. The programs that are already being broadcast with accessibility are a group of animated short films, and the series Mundo Tortuga and Mar Adentro. Starting next month, the wonderful new series Nuestra Aventura Musical will be added to this group of programs.
We want to highlight that, besides showing these programs during different days of the week, Canal 22 Internacional has made an effort to create an accessible programing slot on the weekends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. (ET)/ 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. (PT). With it, Canal 22 Internacional expects to create awareness on the availability of the accessibility services.
Canal 22 Internacional is the international signal of Canal 22, which is a Mexican Cultural channel created in June of 1993. Its mission is to disseminate the best artistic and cultural expressions from Mexico and the world. It has numerous high quality original productions that cover topics such as music, literature, movies, science, history, festivals, special events, theater, indigenous culture, sports, gastronomy, current events, discrimination prevention, news and productions for children, among other topics.
We invite you to take a look at Canal 22 Internacional programming, specially the programming with accessibility. Canal 22 International is broadcast on DirecTV (channel 446), Time Warner Cable, AT&T U-verse (channel 3022), Verizon Fios (channel 1646) Grande Communications, Wave Broadband and San Bruno Municipal Cable TV (channel 646).
