Her expertise in the audio description field includes scripting, narration, and quality control. Her most recent work includes the narration of audio description for the first Audio Description Awards Gala this past November 18, 2021, when a unique audio description design allowed the audience to experience an active dialogue between the audio description narrator, Nefertiti, and the host of the Gala, Mr. Thomas Reid.
“Nefertiti joined the team to support our efforts in putting together a universal clearinghouse of accessibility assets to make them widely available for ALL,” said Dr. Maria-Victoria Diaz, CEO of Dicapta. “Her passion for audio description, as well as her cultural background as Latino growing in the US, is going to be key to continue developing effective partnerships to reach our ultimate goal of bringing all parties together to bring universal access to media. We are honored to have her on board”
"As a longtime member of Dicapta's consumer advisory group, I know firsthand the importance of establishing and cultivating community partnerships. I am thrilled that we will have Nefertiti's talent and technical expertise. She will be a wonderful addition to Dicapta's dedicated and dynamic team!" said Judy Mathews.
